Summer Assistant Teacher

Horizons is looking for talented and energized individuals to work in either early elementary or upper elementary as Assistant Teacher in an unique academic enrichment summer program. An ideal candidate is usually a recent teacher graduate who is very interested in gaining experience working with children ages 5 through 14. We are looking for a professional, caring individual with the ability to assist in the implementation of strategies to engage students in active learning through non-traditional, hands-on, play-based initiatives during the six-week summer program, June 26-Aug. 4, 2017. A successful Assistant Teacher will enjoy working as a team player to help fulfill the Horizons mission.

Horizons at Brunswick Student Enrichment Program is a six-week summer program for low-income Greenwich public-school boys in Kindergarten through Grade 8.
