Summer Early Elementary Lead Teacher

A dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced professional with a dynamic talent for creating and nurturing a lifelong love of knowledge in children, the ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of teaching experience. Horizons at Brunswick seeks a true team player — a professional, caring individual with the ability to implement strategies to engage students in active learning through nontraditional, hands-on, play-based initiatives during its six-week summer enrichment program, June 26 – Aug. 4, 2017 and six Saturdays during the school year. Reports to the Executive Director. Salary commensurate with experience.

Horizons at Brunswick Student Enrichment Program is a six-week summer program for low-income Greenwich public-school boys in Kindergarten through Grade 8. The program focuses on working with students for up to nine years to cultivate their love of learning, while guiding them to achieve their personal potential. The program includes math, language arts, science, STEAM, swimming, chess, art, technology, sports, and field trips.
