Horizons at Brunswick Student Enrichment Program 

A six-week summer program, in addition to six Saturdays during the school year, for Greenwich public-school boys in kindergarten through eighth grade from under-resourced communities. The program focuses on working with students for up to nine years to cultivate their love of learning, while providing opportunities to support their personal growth. The program includes math, language arts, STEAM, swimming, chess, arts, sports, and field trips. Learn more about the program at horizonsatwick.org.

Locker Room Safety Monitor

Position Overview

The Locker Room Safety Monitor will ensure that the locker room is clean, organized, and safe for students and volunteers. This role will enforce all locker room rules and regulations while providing positive and helpful assistance to all users. The summer enrichment program runs for six weeks from June 26 to August 4, 2023. The work hours for this position are weekdays from 12:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., with additional hours to be specified during the hiring process. $25/hr.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the locker room area to ensure that it is clean and free of hazards
  • Enforce all locker room rules and regulations
  • Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
  • Assist users with questions and concerns in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Maintain an organized and efficient locker room area
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with students
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of security protocols (a plus)
  • First-aid and CPR-trained (a plus)
