Student getting on bus

Middle School Admission Process

Step 1. Online Inquiry

Parents of prospective students should submit an Online Inquiry. An Admission Office staff member will contact you to set up an appointment to visit.

Step 2. Application

Brunswick utilizes an in-house application, due December 15, the details of which are included in the official admission packet. All supporting materials (Recommendations, Grades, Test Scores, Transcripts, and Financial Aid Applications) are due January 15. We also accept the Standard Application Online (SAO) as a convenience.

Step 3. Recommendations, Transcripts & Testing

For all applicants, by January 15, Brunswick requires confidential recommendations and transcripts to be supplied directly by current schools, teachers, and/or other instructors. Parents must waive all rights to see these materials. For instructions on obtaining recommendations and transcripts, click here.

Step 4. Campus Visit

Upon your completion of the online application, we will call to schedule a parent/son visit. At this meeting, the admission staff will discuss the curriculum and the school’s philosophy, give a tour of the facilities, and answer any questions. All prospective families are invited to attend one of our optional Open Houses in the fall.

Candidates for entry years are required to visit Brunswick. It is an important time for candidates to gain a true feeling for the life and spirit of the school, and for the school to gain an understanding of the candidate. Visits, which must be completed by February 1, include a campus tour and an interview with the Director of Middle School Admission.
