Our Aim: To Develop “The Whole Boy”
Serving as Head of Brunswick School is one of my life’s greatest honors. More than any school I know, Brunswick is a vibrant and growing institution that has managed to stay true to its founding goals during the course of a long and distinguished history. The school’s motto, “Courage, Honor, Truth,” is a phrase familiar to all who have walked our halls and one followed both in word and deed by those who meet success in our community.
In all divisions, great emphasis is placed on development of the “whole boy.” In a community of challenging academics, diverse artistic pursuits, and highly competitive athletics, time is also carefully set aside for both reflection and service to others.
We believe in the potential of every boy in our charge. We are blessed with a talented faculty dedicated to the fullest possible growth of each member of our community. Our collective goal is to prepare our students for successful and meaningful lives after they leave our care.
In sum, Brunswick believes the strength of a young man’s character and the depth of his spirit ultimately determine his life’s successes.

Gordon Korman, the prolific author of children’s books and young-adult fiction, visited with Lower and Middle School students in late October, offering a lively recap of a creative, bountiful career spanning almost 47 years.
Brunswick's final match of the season was the NEPSAC Championship game against Phillips Exeter Academy at Mehra Natatorium on Sunday, with the Bruins ultimately earning a 20-13 win to capture their 10th consecutive New England Championship title.
A grieving mother and physician-turned-advocate visited Brunswick to speak to parents and Upper School students about the hidden danger of fentanyl.
Deep blue skies and bright sunshine set the stage for another terrific Homecoming, with scores of alumni, students, parents, and friends flocking to Edwards Campus to celebrate a weekend’s worth of thrilling athletic contests, joyful connection, and heartfelt reunions.
