While 70 percent of Brunswick students reside in the Town of Greenwich, an estimated 30 percent of Brunswick students live outside of Greenwich — either residing in other Connecticut towns or neighboring cities within New York State. Our goal is to support boys and their families with safe and reliable transportation options. You can find a variety of resources for Brunswick students outlined below.
All Greenwich residents are eligible to have their son(s) ride the Greenwich Public School Bus System. For additional information, visit: Greenwich Public Schools Transportation/Busing.
This is coordinated by Greenwich Board of Education Transportation Office (203.625.7443). Brunswick families with specific questions should connect with the following contacts at each division:
Most all Westchester cities provide transportation to Brunswick students if the school is within 15 miles of a family’s home. Brunswick families may check with their city’s school busing or with the following at each division:
Pre, Lower, and Middle School students are eligible to apply for a space on the shuttle bus departing from either Maple Avenue or Maher Avenue to King Street in the morning and from King Street back to Maple or Maher Avenue in the afternoon. There is a fee and there is limited space. Contact Susan Petrelli (firstname.lastname@example.org or 203.625.5844).
All Brunswick students are eligible to apply for a space on the Greenwich Academy bus for the morning only. The Greenwich Academy (GA) Shuttle Bus is intended for Brunswick students in the Upper School division due to the timing of pick-up and drop-off. Parents who are interested in this transportation option for boys in other divisions would have to arrange a bus chaperone and/or a reliable method of transfer for the student to ride the King Street shuttle bus. The bus stops in Darien (near Exit 11), Stamford (near Exit 9), the Stamford Train Station, and the Greenwich Train Station (near Exit 3). There is a fee. For specific information, visit Greenwich Academy Bus Schedule or contact the GA Transportation Coordinator, Martha Franco at 203.625.8900.
New families, if you have questions, please contact the appropriate Brunswick Admissions Office:
