Transportation Options

Last Updated: May 9, 2023

While 64 percent of Brunswick students reside in the Town of Greenwich, an estimated 36 percent of Brunswick students live outside of Greenwich either residing in other Connecticut towns or neighboring cities within New York State. Our goal is to support boys and their families with safe and reliable transportation options. You can find a variety of resources for Brunswick students outlined below.

Greenwich Public School Bus System

All Greenwich residents are eligible to have their son(s) ride the Greenwich Public School Bus System. For additional information, visit: Greenwich Public Schools Transportation/Busing.

This is coordinated by Greenwich Board of Education Transportation Office (203.625.7443). Brunswick families with specific questions should connect with the following contacts at each division:

  • Lower School (Grades 1-4): Nancy Freyre, 203.485.3670
  • Middle School (Grades 5– 8): Mary Beth Duncan, 203.242.1202
  • Upper School (Grades 9–12): Connie Devico, 203.625.5856

Westchester Public School Bus System

Most all Westchester cities provide transportation to Brunswick students if the school is within 15 miles of a family’s home.  Brunswick families may check with their city’s school busing or with the following at each division:

  • Lower School (Grades 1-4): Nancy Freyre, 203.485.3670
  • Middle School (Grades 5– 8): Mary Beth Duncan, 203.242.1202
  • Upper School (Grades 9–12): Connie Devico, 203.625.5856

Brunswick Shuttle to/from King Street

Pre, Lower, and Middle School students are eligible to apply for a space on the shuttle bus departing from either Maple Avenue or Maher Avenue to King Street in the morning and from King Street back to Maple or Maher Avenue in the afternoon. There is a fee and there is limited space. Contact Alison Knight (aknight@brunswickschool.org or 203.625.5844).
