Middle School boys begin with woodshop in grades five and six, learning hand tools and an introduction to power tools. In grades seven and eight, they build on those skills in our Idea Lab, applying the engineering design process through physical builds and computer-aided design using 3D printers and laser cutters. Through this progression, boys learn to explore practical craftsmanship as well as modern technology.
