Writing Center

The Writing Center supports all Upper School students through one-on-one consultations, group workshops, and faculty-led seminars. Students receive guidance at any stage of the writing process, whether working on an assigned essay, revising a draft, or seeking feedback on a personal project. The Center fosters conversations about writing and helps students become stronger editors of their own work.

Each year, outstanding juniors and seniors are invited to apply for “Writing Advisor” roles. Applicants submit an application and writing sample, and selected students become year-long peer consultants at the Center.

When that milestone day arrives, after 26 years of his steady and extraordinary leadership, Tom will be the longest tenured Head of School other than Brunswick’s founder.
